lives in Orlando, FL where he was born and raised. He and Kathy, his wife of
22 years, have four boys, a Golden Retriever named Shelby, and an adopted
stray cat. Kathy also plays Laura Bush and adds an element of sparkle and
fun to any speaking engagement.
John’s love for acting started in early childhood, and he has a natural ease
in front of an audience that allows him to be spontaneous. John is both a
talented musician and a seasoned performer. He has also played several
impersonations such as Joe Friday from Dragnet, Captain James T. Kirk from
Star Trek, Andy Griffith, and an Old German Grandfather. All of this has
helped prepare John for the role of a lifetime as George W. Bush, President
of the United States.
During President Bush’s first campaign, people would approach John and
comment on how much he looked like the then Governor. The steady increase in
comments funneled John into a career that has been very fun and very
exciting. He leaves people laughing and talking about his appearances long
after the event is over.
