George is an actor, writer, producer, teacher and director with over thirty years’ experience in the entertainment industry. He has successfully adapted his show business knowledge to corporate applications, serving as speech writer and presentation coach for corporate executives from companies as diverse as Sara Lee Coffee & Tea and the Chevron Corporation.

He has functioned as a creative consultant on rebranding proposals for high profile clients like Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Sweet Tomatoes. In addition to being on several presentation teams for high-level proposals, he has also participated in corporate training projects for the Hard Rock Vault, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Wannado City.

George is a veteran performer of numerous stage plays, films, commercials and TV shows. His professional directing credits include "The Three Musketeers" and "As Bees in Honey Drown" at the Civic Theatre in Orlando, as well as "Camping with Henry and Tom" and "The Real Thing" with the Orlando Theatre Project in Sanford.

As teacher of acting students at several universities including UCF, and U.C. Boulder, George has made the transition to corporate performance coaching, helping upper level executives with their presentation style.

George graduated from the State University of New York, College at Purchase with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, and received a Masters in Theater Direction from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Alfred Hitchcock once said that all actors are children. I’m not sure if he meant that as a compliment or an insult, but in my estimation, it’s a pretty accurate statement. It’s like that old joke, “What’s the difference between an actor and a mutual fund? Mutual funds eventually mature and make money.”

All kidding aside, the question for directors, stage and operations managers is…how do you get the most out of your performers? How do you deal with people who essentially refuse to grow up? Hopefully the way you would deal with all children…with love, understanding and firm, fair discipline.
